British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss stated the need to create a global NATO to monitor security in the Indo-Pacific region.

The minister made this statement on May 15 upon arrival at a meeting of the foreign ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance in Berlin.

According to Truss, while protecting Euro-Atlantic security, the alliance also needs to pay attention to the security of the Indo-Pacific region.

The head of the British Foreign Office also spoke about military assistance to Ukraine, saying that the alliance is working closely with Kiev, Warsaw and others to ensure that Ukraine has weapons to NATO standards.

In addition, Truss expressed strong support for Sweden and Finland joining NATO.
