Germany could supply Ukraine with long-range Taurus cruise missiles if the United States transfers ATACMS tactical missiles.
This information was voiced by the Chairman of the German Parliamentary Committee on Defense, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann.

Under what conditions will Germany transfer Taurus to Ukraine?
Strack-Zimmerman noted that the head of the German government, Olaf Scholz, is under extreme pressure and may want to complete discussions on the transfer of Taurus to Ukraine.
At the same time, the deputy did not rule out that Scholz would approve the transfer of these missiles if the United States transfers ATACMS.
If the Americans give the green light to the supply of their ATACMS, perhaps – said the head of the Bundestag defense committee.
She added that Germany would not have to send its military to Ukraine to help operate the Taurus, since members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were trained to use other Western systems in the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance.
Earlier, Scholz, after a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Spain, explained the preliminary refusal to transfer the Taurus to Ukraine by saying that he wanted to avoid escalation.
