The cat returned home to its owner nine months after its own cremation

An unusual story with an animal and a person happened in the Canadian city of Saskatoon.

A local resident cremated the cat, and nine months later he returned to her alive and well.

The Daily Star reported on this, noting that in September last year, 26-year-old Desiree Hobbins lost her ginger cat named Zeppelin.

He didn’t show up at home for several days. The girl posted advertisements looking for a cat.

A survey of neighbors also did not lead to any significant results – they did not see the animal.

Soon, on one of the social networks, Desiree read a post in which it was reported that a cat similar to Zeppelin had been found dead.

The girl’s friends came to look at the four-legged animal and later confirmed that it was indeed a Zeppelin (they compared it with photographs of Hobbins’ pet, stating that the distinctive features matched).

The Canadian decided to look at the dead cat herself. And I was convinced: it was Zeppelin. She cremated him.

And in May of this year, representatives of an organization that rescues homeless animals notified Hobbins on Instagram that Zeppelin had been found alive.

There was nothing wrong with him. Except for the absence of one tooth.

As it turned out, volunteers found out the owner’s name by checking the microchip on the animal.

When I found Zeppelin dead, I was so distraught that it didn’t even occur to me to check the microchip,” the girl said.
