The center of the city of Maryinka, located on the territory of the DPR, has already been cleared of Ukrainian military personnel.
The general public was notified of this by the acting head of the republic Denis Pushilin.
In Marinka itself, the city center has been cleared of the enemy. Those skyscrapers that served as enemy fortifications are practically under control, – official of MIA “Russia Today”.
According to him, there remains a small part of the settlement where Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters may still be located.
After this territory is cleared, the liberation operation will presumably be carried out in the direction of Krasnogorovka.
And in the Avdeevsky direction, “forces are concentrated on the liberation of Pervomaisky.”
If successful, “certain opportunities for release” open up, the civil servant explained.
He added that the Ukrainian army continues to try to go on the offensive in the area of the village of Mayorsk.
However, Russian troops withstand the enemy’s attacking actions and are advancing towards Dzerzhinsk, Pushilin informs.
It also indicates that in the village of Yakovlevka (Donetsk direction) an “additional cleanup” is currently taking place.
According to him, in the Artyomovsk direction in the village of Chasov Yar, the Ukrainian army is forming strike forces.
We are trying to keep the situation under control and minimize the reserves that the enemy is trying to throw in huge quantities to hold Artemovsk,” the acting officer said.
