It has become known under what conditions a meeting between Vladimir Putin and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson could take place.
The likelihood of such a meeting on the part of Great Britain was commented on by the head of the defense department, Ben Wallace; Dmitry Peskov explained the situation in the Kremlin.
According to a Kremlin official, the meeting can indeed take place if London has the political will.
It is possible if the political will prevails in London to repair our bilateral relations, which were pretty much broken on London’s initiative,” the radio station “quotes a statement from the press secretary of the Russian president.”
At present, such a meeting is not being prepared and is considered only as potentially possible.
British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace was more categorical.
He said the Russian president and the British prime minister would meet only after Moscow “stops its malicious actions.”
Let us recall that on June 16, a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden took place in Geneva.
The dialogue lasted three and a half hours, following which the parties stated that there are no winners in a nuclear war, and therefore such a scenario is unacceptable.
To this end, Moscow and Washington intend to build a bilateral dialogue.
