It became known that the Czech authorities may begin vaccinating children against the new type of coronavirus from July 1.

For this purpose, online registration has started for children living in the country. It is planned that children at least 12 years old will be vaccinated. Information about this appeared on Twitter.

The country’s prime minister announced the authorities’ readiness to vaccinate young people against coronavirus last Sunday.

Starting July 1, citizens of the country can register online. Those interested must register on the website of the Czech Ministry of Health.

The procedure is intended only for children over 12 years of age. Vaccination will be carried out exclusively in the presence of the child’s parents or legal representatives (for example, guardians or under the supervision of a pediatrician).

After registration, parents will receive an SMS message or email containing information about the date, time and location of the procedure.

Mass vaccination against coronavirus infection in the Czech Republic began on December 27 last year.

During this time, more than 4.6 million residents out of more than 10 million were vaccinated.

At the same time, just over 2 million 430 thousand people received both components of the vaccine.

Vaccination is carried out using drugs from Pfizer, Moderna and the British vaccine AstraZeneca.
