The deadline for completing the investigation into the terrorist attacks on Nord Stream has been announced
The Swedish prosecutor’s office, which is investigating the case of terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream branches, has announced a deadline for completing the investigation.
Law enforcement officials expect to complete the investigation this fall and even bring charges against those responsible for the explosions.
I hope that in the fall we will be able to agree on the issue of charges. This is our goal, at least as it looks now,” MIA quotes the statement of Swedish prosecutor Mats Ljungqvist.
Speaking on a local radio station, the official said the investigation was nearing its final phase and charges could be filed this fall.
A representative of the supervisory authority said that the investigation is being conducted in cooperation with German colleagues, and meetings are being held between prosecutors and investigative teams.
But at the same time, the official did not disclose the details of these meetings, as well as the details of the investigation itself.
