The European Union turned to Russia after the decision to transfer the assets of Ariston and Bosch to temporary management of Gazprom.

At the same time, European officials called the decision inconsistent with international law and asked Russia to build acceptable relations with business.

The European Union calls on Russia to cancel these measures and seek acceptable solutions with the European companies they are aimed at, the text of the message is quoted with a link to the website of the European External Action Service.

The decision on nationalization was announced on April 27. The EU statement was not long in coming.

European parliamentarians called the transfer of the assets of Ariston and Bosch companies to temporary management to Gazprom inconsistent with international law.

At the same time, the EU said that the actions of the Russian government confirm Moscow’s “unpredictability” in the economy.

Such decisions, the EU believes, are aimed at creating an “arbitrary and hostile climate” against foreign companies in Russia.

Let us recall that on April 27, the Italian Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian Ambassador to give an explanation regarding the nationalization of Ariston Thermo Group.

The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on April 26.

According to the document, 100% of the shares of subsidiaries Ariston and BSH Hausgerate go to the Gazprom structure.

Earlier it became known that Trump was planning against countries wishing to abandon the dollar.
