The European Parliament proposes to impose sanctions against the United States and Saudi Arabia
One of the representatives of the European Parliament initiates the introduction of sanctions against the United States and Saudi Arabia.
This idea was voiced by Croatian MP Mislav Kolakusic, justifying the proposal with the conflict in Yemen.
If this were true, if we were truly fighting for peace, then we should immediately impose the same sanctions against Saudi Arabia, which has been fueling the war in Yemen for several years. – words of the deputy of MIA “Russia Today”.
In particular, he wants Brussels to impose an embargo on oil and gas supplies from the United States.
Why USA? Because, the Croatian explains, Washington has participated in more military conflicts than any European state, and perhaps even the world, in recent decades.
Mislav Kolakusic also spoke out about anti-Russian sanctions, calling them “an incredible lie” and “hypocrisy.”
According to him, the real purpose of economic restrictions against Russia has not yet been named.
The deputy emphasized: it is the Europeans themselves who suffer first of all from these sanctions.
