The day before it became known that after a series of explosions a fire started at one of the industrial facilities in the Kyiv region. The information was confirmed by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko.

It is reported that the fire has been extinguished for the second day.

Earlier it was reported that the emergency occurred after a series of night explosions that rang out against the background of air raid signals.

The fire started after debris fell.

According to media reports, 249 rescuers and 98 pieces of equipment, including four firefighting trains, were involved in extinguishing the fire.

According to the publication Military Review, an industrial facility may mean a military plant.

The facility was located in the Vasilkov area, south of the Ukrainian capital.
