The first information about the Wuhan coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has disappeared

0views

The first information about the genome of the Wuhan coronavirus has disappeared from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) database.

The strain was also called the original variant, which was identified in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Information was provided by the Chinese government.

Bloomberg, citing sources, reports that Chinese scientists could have full control of this data.

After the scientists provided the necessary information to their American colleagues, they withdrew the data under the pretext of updating the information.

Allegedly, in order to avoid discrepancies in the future, it was necessary to remove irrelevant information.

American scientists do not comment on the possible motives that their Chinese colleagues may have had in withdrawing data on the original SARS-CoV-2 virus.

However, after information about the original genome of the virus disappeared, the theory of the man-made origin of the virus and the pandemic again became relevant.

US virologist Jesse Bloom linked the disappearance of data with an attempt by the Chinese authorities to hide something important regarding the epidemic in Wuhan.

This is not the first accusation against Beijing of concealing the facts of the origin of the coronavirus epidemic in the country.

After Donald Trump’s criticism of China and the WHO, the US House of Representatives published a report on the leak of the virus from a laboratory in Wuhan.

The document says that the American side has “serious indirect evidence” of a possible leak.

Let us recall that the international investigation into the causes of the coronavirus pandemic under the auspices of the WHO has not provided an answer to the question that concerns humanity.
