On Monday, August 1, the first ship with Ukrainian grain left the Odessa port at half past eight in the morning (the time coincides with the Belarusian one).

This is reported by local, Russian and Western media, and information is also disseminated on social networks and instant messengers.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense also said that the ship would set sail on August 1 at 08:30.

The first ship will depart from the Odessa port at 08:30, – statement from the MIA “Russia Today” department.

According to Turkish journalists, grain is transported to Lebanon by the ship Razoni under the flag of Sierra Leone.

Earlier, the official representative of the Turkish President, Ibrahim Kalin, announced this ship’s voyage, also calling it August 1.

In turn, the Russian publication, citing its own source, informs that the passage of the ship with grain via satellites will be controlled by representatives of the coordination center in Istanbul.

Let us recall that it was in this Turkish city that on July 22 agreements were signed on lifting restrictions on the export of Russian products and on Moscow’s assistance in exporting grain from Ukraine.
