The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the introduction of new restrictions on representatives of the European Union – they can no longer enter Russian territory.
These measures were taken in response to the 11th package of sanctions, which was recently introduced by the European Union.
The corresponding message was published on the official Russian Foreign Ministry.
The department notes that the European Union continues to put pressure on Russia by introducing new restrictive measures.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers such EU actions to be illegitimate and undermining the provisions of the UN Security Council.
It is noted that in response to European Union sanctions, Russia is introducing entry restrictions for an additional number of people representing various EU institutions.
The Russian Foreign Ministry added that we are talking about representatives of law enforcement agencies, government and commercial organizations that provide weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.
Also, restrictions on the part of Russia will be introduced for persons who are responsible for imposing sanctions against the Russian Federation.
