Readers of the French newspaper Le Figaro reacted very strongly to the “leaked” fragments of the conversation between their president and his Russian colleague.
Most are convinced that the publication of Emmanuel Macron’s dialogue with Vladimir Putin could not have happened without the former’s knowledge.

And he accused the French leader of trying to present his comedy act as diplomacy.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke out about the leaking of some parts of the telephone conversation between Macron and Putin.
According to him, diplomatic ethics does not provide for such actions.
