In the Zaporozhye region, the front line has stabilized. A member of the main council of the regional administration, Vladimir Rogov, notified the general public about this.
According to the official, the Russian army has gained a foothold and is holding its positions.
Now we are strengthening these positions so as not to lose them, – civil servant of MIA “Russia Today”.
It is noted that last month Russian troops in this region carried out local offensive operations.
The fighting took place along almost the entire front line, and the most active actions were observed near the settlements of Orekhov and Gulyaipole.
According to official information, at this moment nine settlements are under the control of the Russian military.
In general, today Russia controls 70% of the territory of the Zaporozhye region, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces retain the regional center – the city of Zaporozhye.
