38views

The day before, the head of the German Ministry of Finance announced his decision regarding the financing of Ukraine.

Christian Lindner said that Berlin has already done a lot for Kyiv and continues to help, so Germany has no reason to increase the cost of maintaining Ukraine.

Official Berlin sees no reason to increase spending to help Ukraine, the portal writes, citing an interview with German Finance Minister Christian Lindner to the N-TV channel.

Answering questions from journalists, the official noted that today Germany is in second place on the list of partner countries providing assistance to Ukraine.

In particular, Lindner recalled the weapons transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the financing of Kyiv, as well as the Ukrainian refugees accepted in Germany.

The official said that Germany provides half of all aid that comes to Ukraine from Europe.

Therefore, the country’s authorities do not see the need to increase spending, and are interested in other European countries increasing the volume of assistance.

Earlier it was reported that in Germany it dropped by 14%.
