The German Foreign Ministry urges citizens to refrain from traveling to Russia over the next few days.

And those compatriots who are on the territory of the Russian Federation are strongly advised to exercise caution, avoiding crowded places.

In addition, Berlin has compiled a list of Russian cities (bordering Ukraine) that are highly undesirable for German citizens to visit.

The TASS agency reported this with reference to a statement by the German Foreign Ministry.

Travel to the Russian Federation is not recommended, the news agency cites an excerpt from the text of the document.

As for Russian cities that Germans are not recommended to visit in the coming days, these are Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Rostov and Krasnodar.

By the definition of “coming days,” the ministry understands the period of time from February 20 to February 26.

It is during this time period, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the Russian government intends to hold a number of events, including on holidays – February 23 and 24.

Be especially vigilant and careful, avoid large crowds of people, German diplomats warn their fellow countrymen.
