The German Defense Minister noted that we are talking about tanks of the Leopard 1A5 model – this delivery will be made as part of a package of military assistance to Ukraine worth $2.7 billion.

Boris Pistorius noted that IRIS-T SLM air defense systems will also be supplied to the Ukrainian army.

In February, Berlin announced that Germany intended to supply up to 180 Leopard 1A5 tanks.
