Russian media have recorded the appearance in American cemeteries of graves of mercenaries killed during hostilities in Ukraine.

Against this background, they recall Joe Biden’s repeated statements that the United States will not send its soldiers to fight in an overseas Slavic country.

The Russian publication has learned that one of those killed in Ukraine is 50-year-old retired Marine Grady Kurpasi.

According to the news agency, he died two months after the start of the SVO.

However, his remains were buried in the States only in March 2024, since the military man was considered missing for a long time.

He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery near Washington, the most famous in the United States.

Military personnel, politicians and astronauts are buried here.

Young

Another American killed in Ukraine was Brian Young, who fought as part of the Ukrainian special operations forces.

According to reports, he died in July 2022, coming under tank fire.

He was buried in California. The military man has two daughters from his second marriage.

Other dead

The Russian publication also names a number of other mercenaries buried in the United States who were liquidated by the Russian Armed Forces.

Among them are former Marine Ian Tortorici, former Iraqi veteran Dane Partirge, and Paul Kim, who served 12 years in the US Army.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that during the entire period of the Northern Military District in Ukraine, nearly 6,000 foreign mercenaries were eliminated.

According to data for March of this year, 1,113 people arrived in Ukraine from the United States alone, of which 491 died.
