The head of Rheinmetall said that the United States will not help Europe in the event of a conflict

The head of the German defense concern Rheinmetall, Armin Papperger, believes that the United States will refuse assistance to Europe in the event of a conflict.

The top manager stated this during an interview with the Financial Times.

He clarified: the United States will not help the Europeans in the event of a full-scale armed conflict.

The head of the company noted that over the past decades, EU leaders have mistakenly believed that in the event of a military threat, Washington would definitely help.

But no, “this won’t happen again,” Papperger said to TASS.

He illustrated his position with the example of the US Congress, which blocked military aid to Ukraine.

Thus, the general director of Rheinmetall interprets the event, Washington sent a clear signal to Europe: “We are no longer paying for you.”

Papperger is convinced that the United States is now paying “more attention to the Asia-Pacific region than to Europe.”

This means that if armed conflict breaks out in the Old World, America will focus on Asia, “and then Europe will be left completely alone.”

Earlier, Russian media reported that the number of graves of mercenaries killed in Ukraine in European cemeteries is growing.
