The head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry will raise the country’s flag in front of the SCO building in China

Soon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov will visit the capital of the People’s Republic of China.

In Beijing, the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry will take part in an important event.

We are talking about the solemn ceremony of raising the flag of Belarus in front of the building of the secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

This is reported with reference to a statement made by Zhang Ming, the Secretary General of the above-mentioned international organization.

What is known about the upcoming ceremony of raising the flag of Belarus

Zhang Ming emphasized that the event will take place when the delegation of the SCO secretariat returns to China from Kazakhstan, where the organization’s summit was held.

The flag of our country will be raised in Beijing – in front of the SCO building.

The ceremony will be attended by the heads of diplomatic missions of the countries participating in the interstate association.

As Zhang Ming noted, one of the participants in the event will be Maxim Ryzhenkov, head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, Belarus officially became a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
