President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, promised to lift restrictions on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products.

This message was conveyed by the Ukrainian leader during a press conference following negotiations with the presidents of Poland and Lithuania.

“Ukraine should have the opportunity to carry out at least transit. This issue goes beyond the scope of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland.”– RIA Novosti Zelensky.

Vladimir Zelensky said that this issue would be raised at the level of the European Union – the head of the European Commission made a promise to the President of Ukraine.

If you believe the report of the Ukrainian publication “Strana”, the restriction on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine may be lifted from September 15.

At the moment, restrictions apply to Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products.

It was introduced due to the dissatisfaction of farmers who began to suffer losses after importing Ukrainian grain.
