German Interior Minister Nancy Feser apologized for the July photographs taken in Kyiv.

In the photographs, the head of the department is captured with the head of the Ministry of Labor of her country and the mayor of the capital of Ukraine Vitaliy Klitschko.

The company, judging by the footage, is on the balcony of some building and, drinking champagne, is in the most wonderful mood.

And Mrs. Feser laughs merrily,” noted the German publication Die Welt, which reported that later, in Potsdam, at a meeting with journalists, she apologized for the photo, expressing regret about it.

We were invited to an evening with the ambassador and with the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, and in the end we chose the same drink as him – the head of the German Ministry of Internal Affairs MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

The official stated that she would never act this way again.

Because it expresses everything that is inappropriate when you come from another country,” she explained.

At the same time, Nancy Feser believes that the pictures generally corresponded to the atmosphere in Kyiv.

As an example of the “atmosphere,” she cited the fact that she witnessed how in this city people visited shops, bars, cafes, and flowers were planted again in public places.

According to her, the people of Kiev were minding “their own business.”

But the minister’s words did not convince the newspaper’s readers, who accused the civil servant of hypocrisy, since, according to them, visits to Kyiv are financed by taxpayers.
