The head of the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD), Glen van Herk, made an interesting statement regarding unidentified objects shot down over the United States.

According to him, there is a possibility that they may be of extraterrestrial origin.

At the same time, the high-ranking military officer drew attention to the fact that the final conclusion on this issue should be given by the intelligence services, MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

UFO

Let us remind you that recently cases of mysterious objects appearing in the airspace of the United States (and not only) have become more frequent.

In the States, they were shot down in the skies over Alaska, Lake Huron, and another mysterious object was shot down in the skies over Canada.

China also reported detecting an unidentified flying object in its airspace and intending to shoot it down.

As for the United States, regarding the downed UFOs, Glen van Herk said the following:

I will let intelligence and counterintelligence make a conclusion on this matter. Personally, at this stage I do not exclude any versions.

Threat identification

Experts continue to analyze every threat, including a potential one that is approaching North America,” Glen van Herk emphasized.

According to him, actions are being taken to “identify” these threats, which are understood as those same unidentified flying objects.

The head of NORAD added that the US military has not yet figured out what kept the downed objects in the air, and are not sure that they were balloons.

I am unable to explain how they stayed in the air. There may have been a gas-filled balloon or some type of propulsion system inside the structure. However, it is obvious that they stayed in the air,” he said.

And earlier, the pilots who went up to intercept reported that they were unable to determine, through visual observation, where the engines were located on the vehicles.
