The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense made an unexpected admission about the capabilities of Russian electronic warfare
Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov made an unexpected statement for many of his compatriots about arming the Russian army.
He acknowledged that enemy electronic warfare (EW) systems can effectively suppress GPS-guided projectiles and HIMARS MLRS.
The head of the Ukrainian defense department spoke about this during an interview with the Financial Times.
According to him, Kyiv’s shells of the type mentioned above are “very accurate,” but powerful Russian electronic systems have learned to suppress them.

The minister also said that Ukraine recently signed a maintenance contract with the defense company Babcock International (UK).
A similar agreement was concluded with the French company Nexter Systems, which produces artillery systems.
