The Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó, informed the general public about the situation around NATO and Ukraine.

According to him, at the summit of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance, many participants in the event “in a low voice and with apprehension” admitted the failure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the Hungarian diplomat, they, in particular, quietly said that the results of this action by the Ukrainian military were “far from expectations.”

Since the beginning of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, there have been no major changes on the battlefield, nor any breakthrough. Many have admitted this. In a low voice, with apprehension, but admitted, – Szijjártó MIA “Russia Today”.

The minister added that his NATO colleagues have come to understand the fact that the Ukrainian counter-offensive brought “results noticeably far from expectations.”

This understanding of what happened, notes a politician from Hungary, is no longer disputed by anyone in NATO today.

He also said that in their speeches many NATO ministers did not touch upon this topic at all.

However, there was an attempt by one of the members of the military-political bloc to declare the impending victory of Kyiv, but this attempt, as Szijjarto put it, was “isolated.”
