The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the Ukrainian attorney to clarify Podolyak’s statement

On January 30, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Ukrainian Charge d’Affaires Evgeniy Kravchenko.

The Ukrainian diplomat was demanded to explain in connection with the statement of the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, about the drone attack in Isfahan.

This was reported by the Iranian news agency.

What Podolyak said

Yesterday, Podolyak on Twitter recalled his December statement calling for the destruction of Iran’s weapons production.

Ukraine warned – wrote a representative of the office of the President of Ukraine.

How Iran reacted

Tehran saw in Podolyak’s statement an acknowledgment of Ukraine’s alleged participation in the drone attack on the country’s Defense Ministry facility in Isfahan.

Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine in Iran Kravchenko was summoned to the country’s Foreign Ministry to give an explanation.
