A fire occurred at the largest hydroelectric power station in Ukraine, the Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Station.

It is located in the Kyiv-controlled city of Zaporozhye. Emergency services are currently working there.

The Russian news agency TASS reported on the incident, citing a statement by representatives of the Ukrhydroenergo company.

The fire at the station is currently ongoing. Emergency services and power engineers are on site, – noted at the enterprise.

And they added: currently the situation at the dam is completely under control, there is no threat of its breakthrough.

TASS, in turn, draws attention to the completely limited traffic on the road crossing of the Dnieper hydroelectric power station dam.

The publication also cites the words of the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrei Kovalenko, that the largest hydroelectric power station in the country is “standing.”
