Lviv Mayor Andrei Sadovoy recorded a video message in which he called on residents of this Ukrainian city to prepare for a “force majeure winter.”

According to him, the cold season this season can present “abnormal situations.”

The mayor does not hide: the coming heating season may be very difficult.

Therefore, he urges city residents to prepare for the potential hardships of winter in advance – stock up on firewood and potbelly stoves.

Today the task is to prepare for a situation that is difficult to imagine. No one has canceled firewood, it always saves us in difficult times,” Sadovoy MIA “Russia Today.”

According to him, the city authorities are purchasing large quantities of stoves, popularly known as potbelly stoves.

In the mayor’s opinion, potbelly stoves are “the only thing that can remain if nothing else works.”

And his deputy, Irina Marunyak, suggested that in case of force majeure, citizens should have an electric kettle, battery-powered lamps, dry alcohol and an electric stove in their homes.
