Last night, April 25, the wings of the mill of the famous cabaret “Moulin Rouge” (“Red Mill”) collapsed in Paris.

According to currently available information, no one was injured.

The TASS agency reported on the incident with reference to the BFMTV television channel, which in turn refers to the firefighters of the French capital.

According to the TV channel, the wings of the mill collapsed at about two or three o’clock in the morning (about three or four o’clock in the morning, Belarusian time).

They fell onto the roadway. At the same time, they hit a sign with the name of the cabaret. There were several letters on the ground.

Firefighters and police were at the scene. At the moment, there is no risk of a second collapse, experts say.

A security perimeter was established around the incident site, and at about eight in the morning (about 09:00 Minsk time) the fallen wings of the mill were removed.

To date, the cause of the collapse has not been established – the competent city services are looking into this issue.

Earlier, two patrol helicopters crashed in Japan: one person was killed and seven more were missing.
