The Polish military has not yet found traces of a missile that flew into the country from neighboring Ukraine.

This was reported by representatives of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic.

According to them, the “check of the designated territory” ended at three o’clock in the afternoon (five o’clock in the evening, Belarusian time).

Almost five thousand military personnel from the Territorial Defense Forces were involved in these events.

The search result is negative. Nothing was found that could threaten the safety of residents of the Lublin Voivodeship, a statement from the military MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

They added: the search has finally been completed and no further on-site inspections are planned.

A day ago, the Polish military reported a violation of the country’s airspace by an unidentified flying object that came from Ukraine.

It was accompanied by air defense systems for some time, then the mysterious object disappeared.

According to the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Wieslaw Kukula, the object was a Russian missile, which “everything points to.”

At the same time, he noted that in his discussions about the Russian missile he refers to unverified information.

However, it was precisely because of the missile that on December 29 the Russian Charge d’Affaires in Poland, Andrei Ordash, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry.

There he was handed a note with a “baseless assertion” (so the diplomat said) that the object was recognized as a Russian maneuvering missile.

Ordash said that his request to provide evidence of this statement was refused.

Previously, Poland Russia in violation of airspace.
