Singapore’s passport is recognized as the most powerful and desirable in the world. Previously, the first place according to this criterion was occupied by a Japanese passport.
Moreover, the passport of the Land of the Rising Sun was the undisputed leader over the past five years, until it was replaced by Singapore.

The latter notes that the Japanese passport now occupies only third position in the ranking of the most powerful and desirable relevant documents on planet Earth.
As for Singapore, which has become the leader, citizens of this country can visit 193 of the 227 countries analyzed, the company comments on the rating for the 3rd quarter of this year.
In second place are passports from Germany, Italy and Spain, which allow you to visit 190 countries without a visa.
Third place – Japan, Austria, Finland, France, Luxembourg, South Korea and Sweden (189 countries without a visa).
The top three weakest passports were ID cards issued in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
Russia is in 49th position: the passport of this country is available for visa-free visits to 115 countries. And in 2022, the Russian Federation ranked 50th.
