The European statistical agency Eurostat has named the most unhappy country in the European Union. At the same time, the happiest country was also named.

For this purpose, a survey was conducted among the population. It was proposed to answer questions regarding life satisfaction on a ten-point scale.

The most unhappy country in the Eurozone

According to Eurostat data, Bulgaria is recognized as such, the publication writes.

According to the survey results, the local population rates their satisfaction with life at less than 6.5 points on a ten-point scale.

As it turned out, even in Romania people feel happier than in Bulgaria.

The Germans are not doing much better. They rated their level of satisfaction with life at 6.5 points.

In particular, the German population complained of anxiety and apathy.

The happiest

The happiest citizens were Austrians, who rated their standard of living as eight points.

A little worse, but against the general background, life is still good for the Romanians, Poles and Finns, who scored 7.7 points, sharing the second place in the rating among three.
