The names of the 2021 Nobel Prize winners in physics have been announced.
Scientists Klaus Hasselmann, Syukuro Manabe and Giorgio Parisi received the award for modeling the earth’s climate and studying physical systems. The relevant information was published on the official Twitter account of The Nobel Prize.
Giorgio Parisi
The discovery made by the scientist became an important contribution to the theory of complex systems.
Klaus Hasselman
The scientist developed a model that combines weather and climate. The methods that the specialist developed helped prove that CO2 emissions caused by human activity caused an increase in temperature in the Earth’s atmosphere.
Syukuro Manabe
He clearly demonstrated the process of increasing the temperature of the Earth’s surface depending on the level of CO2 in the atmosphere. Its discovery became the basis for the development of climate models.
Let us recall that last year the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to Roger Penrose, Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghesu.
Tomorrow the names of the chemistry prize winners will be announced.
