The new aid package for Ukraine from Germany will include 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles and 25 Leopard 1A5
Germany announced a new military aid package – the announcement was made during the NATO summit in Vilnius.
In addition to 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles, 25 Leopard tanks of the old 1A5 model will be sent to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Also in the future, the transfer of Patriot air defense missile systems, five vehicles for repairing equipment and 20 thousand artillery ammunition will be carried out.
The total value of military assistance is stated to be 700 million euros.
This is not the first time that Western and European countries have sent military assistance packages to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are becoming larger each time.
Today, French President Emmanuel Macron said that Paris has approved the dispatch of long-range missiles to Ukraine.
Russia warned that sending weapons to Kyiv would only contribute to the escalation of the military conflict.
