On July 29, the number of victims of forest fires in Turkey increased to four.

Another person died near the resort town of Marmaris.

This information was announced by Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli on Turkish television.

Let us remind you that it was previously reported that the fires claimed the lives of three people.

Unfortunately, another person died as a result of the fires, this happened in the Marmaris area, – said the minister.

Fires in Turkey

The cause of the forest fires that started the day before in the province of Antalya near the resort of Manavgat was intense heat.

Today the fire has spread to other southern provinces, including the resort towns of Muğlu and Aydin.

According to the latest data from the Emergency Management Agency, the number of victims has reached 183.
