Poland

Here public attention is drawn to the grave of Daniel Shtyber, born in 1987.

A soldier of the special forces of the International Defense Legion of Ukraine rests in a military cemetery in Warsaw.

Arriving in Ukraine in March 2022, Shtyber served as a shooting instructor and died in a booby trap explosion in November of the same year.

The graves of Tomas Walentek (former professional MMA fighter), Janusz Szeremet, and Krzysztof Tyfel are also mentioned.

France

One of the fresh burials was discovered in the Crans-Gevrier cemetery (suburb of Annecy, Haute-Savoie department).

Here lie the ashes of David Donsh, who died in Ukraine last year near Donetsk. He was a member of the Ukrainian national battalion “Sich”.

According to data announced by French media, 8 mercenaries, two volunteers and three journalists were killed in Ukraine.
The French Foreign Ministry does not publish the names of the victims and the coordinates of the burial places of the remains.

But according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, about 6,000 foreign mercenaries found their deaths in Ukraine. Poland leads the mournful list.
