At least 227 people have been killed and another 1,620 injured as a result of Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip.
Let us remind you that the shelling began on May 10. The Ministry of Health of the coastal enclave reports this.
It is known that among those killed during the rocket attack there were 64 minors, 38 women and 17 elderly people.
As for the people who received various injuries as a result of the incident, their number reached 1620. Doctors are now taking care of their health. Some required hospitalization in medical institutions.
Recall that the rocket attacks followed riots at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem. This happened due to an Israeli court decision to confiscate houses in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood from the Arab families living there.
By the way, over the entire period of time, the radicals managed to fire over 3.5 thousand missiles across the territory of the Jewish state. Of course, the answer did not take long to arrive. So, Israel responded to these attacks with bombings.
Today, clashes continue between Palestinians and Israeli police officers.
