On September 29, the document was released by the National Archives of Scotland.

The document, dated September 16 and signed by the Queen’s daughter Princess Anne, states that Elizabeth II died on September 8 at 15:10 (17:10 Minsk time) at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

According to the certificate, the cause of the queen’s death was old age.

Let us remind you that Elizabeth II died at the age of 96. The Queen ruled Great Britain for a record 70 years and seven months.

The new monarch was 73-year-old Charles, the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He took the name Charles III, and his wife Camilla became queen consort.
