The US Department of Defense announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine worth $775 million.
The new assistance package will include, in particular, the HIMARS MLRS.
This was reported with reference to a senior Pentagon official.
What assistance is planned
At a telephone briefing for the media, a senior US Department of Defense official said that the next aid package to Kyiv will include HIMARS MLRS, 16 105-mm howitzers and 36,000 rounds for them.
In addition, as part of the new assistance package, it is planned to provide Ukraine with HARM anti-radar missiles, TOW and Javelin anti-tank systems and 15 Sky Eagle stealth reconnaissance drones.
The size of the package, which we will announce soon, will be up to $775 million, – said a US defense official.
