The Pentagon chief named the country responsible for the conflict in Ukraine

The head of the US Department of Defense, Lloyd Austin, named the country that, in his opinion, is responsible for the Ukrainian conflict.

The Pentagon chief made a corresponding statement at the Shangri-La Dialogue summit in Singapore.

There, one of the journalists suggested that the mentioned crisis was provoked by NATO expansion.

A senior military official from the United States disagreed with his opinion.

I do not agree with your position that NATO expansion provoked the Ukrainian crisis,” Austin MIA Rossiya Segodnya agency.

He added that, in his opinion, Russia, and not the North Atlantic Alliance, which is seeking expansion, bears responsibility for the crisis in Ukraine.
