The head of the US Department of Defense, Lloyd Austin, called what, in his opinion, is a matter of honor and security for the United States.
The Pentagon chief considers Washington’s assistance to Ukraine to be such a question against the backdrop of the worsening situation for Kyiv that worries him.
Moreover, Austin assures that times have come that threaten the survival of Ukraine and the security of America.
The minister expressed his “full determination to continue to provide American assistance” in the security sector, which includes the supply of ammunition.
And this is a matter of survival and sovereignty for Ukraine, and this is a matter of honor and security for America, – the head of the Pentagon, MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
Let us add that until now the US Congress has not agreed on the issue of allocating funds to finance additional support for Ukraine.
