The preliminary results of the parliamentary elections in Moldova have become known

On Sunday, July 11, early parliamentary elections were held in Moldova.

The preliminary voting results are already known.

They are on the official website of the country’s Central Election Commission.

After processing 99.53 percent of the ballots, the Action and Solidarity party is confidently in the lead.

At the moment, the political force of the current President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, has gained 52.51 percent of the votes.

Second place with 27.37 percent of the votes was taken by the “Communists and Socialists” bloc of Igor Dodon and Vladimir Voronin, two former Moldovan leaders.

Another political force has overcome the electoral threshold – the Shor party. 5.78 percent of voters who came to the polling stations voted for her.

The elections to the Parliament of Moldova were recognized as valid yesterday, July 11. Turnout exceeded the required threshold of 33.3 percent.

As a result of the elections, 101 people will become deputies. The total number of candidates is 1791.

To enter the country’s highest legislative body, electoral blocs needed to get 7 percent of the votes, and individual parties – 5 percent.
