0views

Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala made a statement regarding migration policy before the start of the European Council summit in Brussels.

He believes that the long-term problem with migrants in Europe can be solved through cooperation with third countries.

“The agreement of the EU countries regarding the solution of migration problems corresponds to the position of the Czech government”– RIA «Novosti» Fiala.

He also notes that the new migration policy is consistent with strengthening the external borders of the European Union and returning refugees to where they came from.

Fiala added that the agreement does not provide for the introduction of additional quotas.

He says that today European leaders must do everything possible to establish contacts with third countries so that they help relieve migration pressure on the EU borders.

In addition to the migration problem, other issues will be discussed during the European Council summit.
