The head of the Dutch government, Mark Rutte, promised Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to help defeat Russia.
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands announced this on Twitter on January 3 following a telephone conversation with Zelensky.
What promise did Rutte make to Zelensky?
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands said that he had just had a telephone conversation with the Ukrainian President.
According to Rutte, he assured Zelensky that everything possible would be done for Ukraine’s victory.
To help Ukraine not only defend itself, but also win the war, – wrote the head of the Dutch government.
Rutte noted that the coming months will be decisive for Ukraine.
How the Netherlands helps Ukraine
According to the Dutch Ministry of Defense, almost a billion euros in military assistance were provided to Ukraine last year.
This year, the Netherlands plans to allocate two and a half billion euros for military and humanitarian support to Ukraine, rebuilding damaged infrastructure, diplomatic assistance and bringing perpetrators of war crimes to justice.
