Russian law enforcement officers continue to investigate the criminal case opened in connection with the incident on July 16.

Yesterday, an An-28 passenger plane made a hard landing near Tomsk.

The reason for the incident was given: the aircraft’s engines failed.

The press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported this.

Law enforcement officials reconstructed the picture of what happened.

It turned out that problems with the plane began ten minutes after takeoff.

Both power units stopped working. The pilot tried to launch them again, but this did not help.

As a result, the decision was made to make an emergency landing.

The pilot found a site located several tens of kilometers from the settlement of Kedrovy.

The plane landed but flipped over. Fortunately, no one died. All 18 people on board the ship survived. Among them are 4 minors.

The ship’s commander (fracture) and a 17-year-old girl (possible traumatic brain injury) were hospitalized.

The remaining victims received abrasions and bruises. They did not require hospitalization.
