The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the return of 95 military personnel from Ukrainian captivity.
This became possible as a result of the negotiation process, in which the United Arab Emirates acted as a mediator.
95 Russian servicemen, who were in mortal danger in captivity, were returned from territory controlled by the Kyiv regime, says the official statement of the departmental Telegram channel.
The Russian side also handed over 95 Ukrainian Armed Forces prisoners of war to Ukraine.
Transportation of military personnel is carried out by military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The servicemen will be taken to Moscow for treatment and rehabilitation at medical institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Russian soldiers released from Ukrainian captivity are provided with the necessary medical and psychological assistance.
Also, a video with released Russian servicemen was published on the official Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
