The Russian who staged a terrorist attack on the railway near Ryazan last year, as a result of which a freight train was derailed, was counting on a reward from the SBU in the amount of $15 thousand.

This became known during the investigation.

Russian Ruslan Sidiki, who also has Italian citizenship, who committed a bombing of railway tracks near Ryazan, was counting on receiving $15 thousand from the Ukrainian special services.

During the investigation, Sidiki fully admitted his guilt and repented of his actions. For the bombing he committed, the Ukrainian special services, with whom he had previously contacted on his own initiative in one of the messengers banned in Russia and was recruited, promised to pay him $15 thousand. Oddly enough, he did not receive the promised money, the official statement cites.

It was also established that Sidiki missed two trains with military personnel and weapons.

The detonation was accomplished only the third time, when a train with fertilizers passed through.

As a result, 19 freight train cars derailed and another 15 overturned.

The detainee admitted that in February last year he was recruited by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Recruitment took place in Istanbul.
