The publication’s article, which TASS reviewed, says that the French leader’s statement caused a “blatant misunderstanding” on the part of Paris’s allies.
In addition, many ordinary citizens of Western countries began to more often express concern about the Ukrainian issue,” writes the author of the material.
Therefore, in the current situation, to continue supporting Kyiv, “the collective power of persuasion of all European leaders is needed,” the journalist believes.
But attempts to popularize the idea of sending troops to Ukraine will only lead to increased risks of refusal, the publication notes.
Based on this, the author further writes, Kyiv has found itself in a difficult situation, especially since it is experiencing considerable problems in terms of ammunition and personnel.
The newspaper draws the following conclusion: against the backdrop of ongoing political events, Ukraine has only one thing left to do – hope for a change in the situation next year.
