Many residents of the Republic of Lithuania are unhappy with the authorities’ plans to create a new camp for illegal immigrants. This facility is planned to accommodate 1,500 people.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Baltic country, Agne Bilotaite, spoke about the corresponding intention yesterday, July 26.
A center for refugees is planned to open at a training ground in the village of Rudninkai.
The protesters tried to block the approaches to this very point.
